Professional throwing knives do not have thin parts or edges like standard knives have because they break very fast. In addition to this, the throwing knives are hardened at around 42-45 HRC to guarantee they will not break after years of throwing.

With a length of 11 ½” and a weigh of 11 oz, the dimensions of the Lepestock are your text book preferred specifications ounce per inch. With a center balance of 6 ¼” from the tip (or 5 ¼” from the end) the balance point puts the weight of knife more in the handle, which makes the Lepestock a great knife to learn from throwing from the blade.
